Ulsoor Sketch Party

By Aravani Art Project

At linearಬೆಂಗಳೂರು 2026, Aravani Art Project invites you to slow down, look closely, and draw together.

As part of the festival, we are hosting a one-hour sketching party in and around Ulsoor — one of Bengaluru's oldest and most layered neighbourhoods, home to ancient temples, quiet ghats, and a community of transgender women who have lived here across generations. Twenty-five to thirty participants will gather — pencils, sketchbooks, and curiosity in hand — to sit together in a park or temple courtyard and draw what they see, in the company of transgender and cisgender women from the Aravani collective.

No agenda. No spectacle. Just looking, drawing, and being together in a place worth paying attention to.
