The basement can be accessed via a ramp, and if you are driving, a car drop at basement level is possible. About The Show
Saturn is My Spine is an exploration of responsibility – physical, emotional, and social – embedded within the dancer. It investigates how discipline, repetition, and embodied knowledge shape not only the dancer’s ability to perform, but their ethical and social consciousness. The dancer’s spine serves as a metaphor for Saturn: the celestial force of life, discipline, time, and karmic debt. It asks whether our continued engagement with dance is a personal pursuit, or if it arises from a deeper collective calling – a responsibility to reflect, resist, and respond through movement. Saturn is My Spine redefines the dancer’s responsibility: not as a burden to bear, but as an active conversation between self and society. 

About the Artist
Abrar Saqib is a contemporary dancer, performer, and psychology educator whose practice emerges from more than a decade of movement research. His work creates spaces where archetypes and speculative futures converge. Treating the stage as a site of dialogue and transformation, he explores shifting agencies between the animate and the inanimate, where living beings become object-like and seemingly lifeless forms acquire presence, inviting audiences into a compelling visual encounter.
