Green Trails of Bangalore University

Walk By Guruprasad K R

Bangalore University is one of the remaining green lung spaces of Bengaluru, spread across nearly 600 acres of rich natural habitat. This vibrant landscape is home to an incredible diversity of life, including around 280 species of birds, 160 species of butterflies, and over 100 species of flora and fauna. The campus is more than just a green space—it is a living classroom where nature reveals its stories at every step. Its diverse vegetation includes several medicinal plants, while numerous check dams and water bodies help recharge groundwater and support the campus ecosystem.

Join us on Green Trails of Bangalore University to slow down, explore, observe, and reconnect with nature. Walk through lush trails, listen to bird calls, discover butterflies, learn about plants, and experience the hidden biodiversity of this remarkable urban sanctuary. Come, walk with nature and discover the wild side of Bengaluru!
